Pinhook Bloodstock was delighted with the $110,000 sale price for a Starcraft 2 year old colt sold at the Magic Millions Breeze up sales on Oct . Originally purchased for $42,500 from the Inglis Classic sale, the colt was prepared for the breeze ups by Matthew and Alison Park’s Symphony Lodge.

He was turned out in tremendous condition and he breezed in a respectable time of 10.6.

With Starcraft having a career best year, especially in Hong Kong expectations were relatively high but this was countered somewhat with the relatively high pass in rate at previous sales, so their was a feeling of uncertainty prior to going through the ring.

An opening bid of $100k may have had the desired result of scaring other bidders off, but one more bid was placed at $110k and he was knocked down to James Moore from Macau.

Given the tricky market at that time all concerned were more than happy with the result.

Thanks to friends & clients who showed the faith & got a result.
