Pinhook Bloodstock International (PBI) is an Australian based full service Bloodstock Agency. PBI sources high quality racing, breeding and trading stock for international and local markets.

Why? The goal is simple - To achieve outstanding racetrack success and excellent commercial outcomes for our clients, whether it is for racing, breeding or investment purposes.

How? A member of the Federation of Bloodstock Agents Australia (FBAA), which adheres to a strict code of conduct and ethics, PBI has a proven track record in sourcing high quality horses coupled with honest and professional customer service.

Dave Mee

Dave Mee of Pinhook Bloodstock is a member of the Federation of Bloodstock Agents Australia (FBAA).

Established in 2005, PBI has bought and sold over 1000 horses, valued at over $40 million.

Notable horses sourced include stakes winners in Hong Kong (Go Baby Go, Express Win), and Gr 1 winners in Macau (Elderly Paradise, Master of Puppets) and Singapore/Malaysia (Mystic Power).

Principal of Pinhook Bloodstock, Dave Mee has a lifelong association with thoroughbreds, through his family involvement in breeding and racing racehorses in the South Island of New Zealand.

Prior to establishing Pinhook Bloodstock, Dave travelled extensively in Australasia, North America and Europe working for some of the worlds leading Trainers, Stud Farms and Bloodstock Agents including Sir Patrick Hogan, Gai Waterhouse, David Payne, Clive Brittain (UK), Taylor Made Farms, and Eddie Woods (USA).

History

Established in late 2005 by Dave Mee the company started out by providing private brokerage services sourcing racehorses for the domestic market.

From the outset hard work, integrity and superior customer service has been the backbone of the businesses growth and success.

A natural evolution of the business saw more demand for racehorses from Asia. This has resulted in great success with over 1000 horses valued at over $40 million being bought and sold, with hundreds of winners in eight different countries.

In recent years, the company has come full circle and due to increased demand for world class Australian Bloodstock from both domestic and international buyers, for not only racehorses but also weanlings, yearlings, broodmares and stallions the decision was made to re-brand the business as Pinhook Bloodstock International (PBI).
