NZ 4YO To Continue Career In Australia

Lightly-raced gelding Under The Bridge has been sold to Victorian interests and will do his future racing from the Warrnambool stable of Symon Wilde.

The four-year-old hasn’t raced since he won over 2100m at just his second race day appearance at Woodville in May.

“We had thought he was passed his sell-by date, but they wanted a promising staying horse so good luck to them,” said former trainer Nigel Auret, who bred and raced the horse with his wife Adaire.

Under The Bridge is a brother to the multiple stakes winner La Fille En Jeu and to Overtheriver, the winner of 20 races and a black type placegetter. https://www.racingnews.co.nz/blog/post/29650/4YO-to-continue-career-in-Australia/ The deal was brokered by Dave Mee at PBI on behalf of Wilde Racing
