150th Horse Bought/Sold to Asia

A milestone reached this week – 150 horses now bought/sold to Asia by Asian Racehorse Sales T/A Pinhook Bloodstock. Prince of Spin, a very exciting 3 year old by Hard Spun was sourced out of the David Hayes stable and will do his future racing in Hong Kong for some long term clients

He is the 150th horse Pinhook Bloodstock has bought/sold to Asia – Hong Kong, Singapore/Malaysia and Macau. A nice tie in as the horse was part owned by John Ivill from Redbank Bloodstock who Dave Mee worked for some 25 years ago breaking horses in at his Euroa operation.

First horse sold was in 2005 – a Pentire gelding called Pentasar, trained by Bob Thomsen at Randwick who won 5 races in Macau. Some of the highlights from the last 10 years include:
